My Restaurant Review

Top 10 (so far...):
  1. Aqua (s.f.,ca) [asian/french seafood]
  2. if you go here, have the tasting menu, and don't forget to order calvados at the end of the meal. i'll let the rest speak for itself.
  3. Patina (l.a.,ca) [californian/french]
  4. a simply amazing french restaurant, expect to spend 3 hours at least. be sure to order the cheese course! oh yes, and be sure to have dessert and coffee.
  5. Sushi Nozawa (l.a.,ca) [traditional sushi]
  6. while you may not find the usual dragon rolls and such (keep in mind you will be thrown out for ordering a california roll), you can expect the freshest and most perfect sushi in los angelos. order the baby tuna sashimi.
  7. Shun Lee (ny) [chinese]
  8. Great NY chinese food, 'nuff said.
  9. San Carlo Italian Deli (l.a.,ca) [italian deli]
  10. The best deli i've ever found, pretty much everything here is good.

  12. Good brunch.
  13. Genarro's (ny) [italian]
  14. Great desserts, great food
  15. Crustacean (l.a./s.f.,ca) [vietnamese seafood]
  16. You can't beat the koi pond going through the floor of the place. Generally speaking, the appetizers are amazing, the main's are good, and the desserts so so. Come at least once, if not just for the decor.
  17. Matsuhisa (l.a.,ca) [Peruvian-Japanese]
  18. over-rated, over-priced, but generally speaking the food is pretty good.
  19. Ruth's Chris (l.a.,ca) [steakhouse]
  20. Other Notables:
    1. Versailles
    2. Yang Chow

        2. (legendary for being the most expensive restaurant in america, this place has no menu, costs about 300 a person, and has only 9 seats. i am so there)
        3. The French Laundry (yountville,ca) [cal-french]
        4. (in the middle of napa valley, the french laundry is said to be one of the best restaurants in the US. note: reservations cannot be called in after 7pm, and be prepared to book at least 2 months in advace. also, be sure to bring your corporate card.)
